Crispy Spicy Shrimps

In continuation of our holy week recipe, we had Spicy Crispy Shrimp for our Easter lunch.

An easy and delicious recipe made possible by the Crispy Prawn Chilli from Singapore courtesy of our flat owner =D - well aside of course of the main ingredient which was shrimps.

Crispy Prawn Chilli or similar to this spicy condiment might be available in your nearest Chinese groceries.

So, here's our easy Easter recipe.




Ingredients:
  • 1/2 Kg Shrimp (clean)
  • 3 tablespoon Ketchup
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon Crispy Prawn Chilli
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • salt



Procedure:
  1. Heat oil in wok with a medium high fire.
  2. Put the shrimps, sprinkle with salt to taste and lightly fry it for about 3 minutes or until it turns orange.
  3. Mix the ketchup and crispy prawn chilli and put in the frying shrimps.
  4. Stir and let it fry for another 3-5 minutes or until the shrimps are crispy and the sauce were dry.
  5. Serve and enjoy!

    1. This is really nice and easy recipe. It is also very supmtuous dish to serve in any occassion. For a change from the usual halabos or dry-steamed shrimps =)
